GUIDELINES
How do I make the team?
Richland High School is a USTA endorsed No Cut tennis program. This means that anyone who registers, meets school and team requirements will have a spot on the team. Skill levels on the team typically range from competitive club players all the way to beginners.
VARSITY
Varsity will consist of the top 14 boys and girls. These players are considered varsity contributors meaning that they can earn the opportunity to play at the varsity level against another school. Players will move in and out of varsity depending on matchups, injuries, etc. Every JV player should be ready to play varsity if called upon.
Coaches will announce who will start out playing varsity at the conclusion of the first week of practice.
